    Hi:
About: “3. I made a mistake in my form mapping, how do I correct it once it is created?
I understand the answer in that point indicates that if some day I want to change my existing mapping (that has been live and saving submissions), I will need to delete all the posts captured by that mapping to continue with my new modified mapping?

I post legal publications that cannot be deleted in 6 months, and the posts must to keep the date of published…

I hope I been misunderstood the answer in the point 3 of you FAQ!

no, not at all. You can change your mapping anytime and keep your data. The Warning note in FAQ #3 is to make you aware that you may run into data inconsistency problems.

Let’s say that you map a user’s name to a meta field your_name today, and later you you add a new mapping for the user’s phone to a field your_phone.

Prior to the new mapping of the phone number you will have submitted/saved posts with no field your_phone and therefore you need to keep that in mind when you search all your submitted posts phone numbers for example.
