About compatibility issues with IE8

    There are many threads about Hueman theme compatibility issues with IE8. I figured out how to solve problem, it’s very easy.

    Theme uses selectivizr v1.0.3b, but with latest stable selectivizr version 1.0.2 all works fine with IE8. Please update theme with downgraded stable selectivizr version. Tested with two computers with IE8 and no more blank page.

    PS. With Hueman demo site (https://demo.alxmedia.se/hueman) IE8 stays blank. With my site and with selectivizr v1.0.2 I have no more problems.

    Many thanks for the post, it is a great help. I have just tried a straight update but it made no change. How can I see which version of selectivizr I am using?

    You’re welcome!

    Open /wp-content/themes/hueman/js/ie/selectivizr.js in text editor. Selectivizr version is shown in the file header.

    Thanks for that information! Will downgrade in the next update if all works well.

    Fantastic it worked perfectly. Tried it this morning at worked on IE8 that did have the white screen…now it doesn’t.

    Fix included in: 1.4.0 / 2.1.4 and up.

    Alexander, is Your homepage https://alxmedia.se/ using the same selectivizr v1.0.3b? Hueman demo site now working with IE8 like a dream, but rest of the site still stays blank.
