About a strange theme

  • Hello everyone. This is my first topic here. I will be happy if you could answer my questions.

    Recently I’ve purchased a theme. It was very cheap and great looking!

    But, unlike other WordPress themes it has a self menu outside Appearance (G?rünüm) section.

    The theme I purchased is customized for Turkish language.

    My question is: Is this normal? Is it normal to have theme settings outside Appearance section?

    Btw, the theme costs 220 Turkish Lira for lifetime use! (extremely cheap!!) Is this also normal?

    I am asking these questions because I suspect that the so to speak “theme developers” may have stolen a theme from somewhere and customized it to Turkish language without the consent of the real developer!

    Please let me bring to light my doubts about the theme and “the developers!”

    Currently, the theme lacks many settings to be customized as it doesn’t use Appearance section.

    I’ve purchased a theme.

    Every theme is different.

    Since you use a commercial theme and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    Commercial products are not supported in these forums.
