I’m starting a backup. If, somehow, there is a network problem, the process is interrupted. Abort button not working. It gets stuck at “Everest Backup’s process is running”. Same problem but I had to open a new topic. I have to manually delete the LOCKFILE file inside the wp-content/ebwp-backups directory.

    Dear @atakanau ,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and asking logical questions – we truly appreciate it!

In regards to your solution to the current issue, you are absolutely correct that the best technical way to Abort a running backup process is to delete manually LOCKFILE?file inside the?wp-content/ebwp-backups?directory.

Another way to solve this problem is to wait a few hours to see the Abort button. However, we are improving the system to provide a more convenient instant Abort method for future versions.

We are grateful for your feedback and are continuously striving to improve the features and functionality of Everest Backup. Thank you for using our Plugin! If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

    Dear @atakanau,

We have addressed the issues with the abort button, and it is now functioning properly. Additionally, we have implemented a new feature that allows the backup process to automatically resume once your internet connection is restored.
