    Hello,

I’ve been using WP statistics for more that a year now and at this point it’s showing that I’ve had 995 visitors in the last 30 days and about 9000 in the last 365 days.

I downloaded Monster insights last week and it’s showing that since then I had 2 visitors and something like 4 pages views.

I expected that half of the 995 could be bots, but all of them? Or is it possible that Monster insights is not counting most of the visitors? I visited my website from my phone (not logged in to wordpress) today earlier and WP statistics immediately counted my visit, but Monster Insights is not showing it.

Could you help to resolve this issue please.

    Kind regards,
    Anna

    Hi Anna,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Since you started using MonsterInsights last week, that means you started collecting data into your Google Analytics property last week. When you create a new Google Analytics property, you start from 0, and the data is completely separate from WP statistics. The stats you’re seeing in MonsterInsights reports are only for a short time so far, but you’ll continue to track data moving forward.

That being said, our team would be happy to take a closer look to make sure tracking is working as expected if you could reach out to us at https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite-support/.

    Thank you!

Thank you very much! I started seeing more traffic now, but it still differs very much from the other plugin. I will contact the support through the link that you provided ??

    Kind regards,
    Anna
