• I’ve had this plugin installed for over a year, and I recently realized that the log file (/wp-content/uploads/broken-link-checker/blc-log.txt) keeps a year’s worth of entries. However, this has resulted in a massive log file (400+ MB). There should be an option in the plugin settings to change this value to something smaller, ideally X number of days.

  • If you have access to your hosting (and it’s Linux based) via SSH you might be able to setup a cron job that deletes the offending file every 10 days or so..

In lieu of the plugin author actually fixing the issue, that might be your best bet.
