Ability to set Multiple Locations

    A suggestion for an improvement.

    I’d like to be able select multiple locations for an event.

    Perhaps this could be done in the same way that an event can have multiple performers, it can have multiple locations too.

    The use case is for a concert tour – a performer typically performs in multiple locations on different dates.
    The alternative is to add the event multiple times as if it is completely seperate but this is not ideal – there’s a lot of duplication, and on the front end it can look messy.

    If this idea were extended to ticket purchasing, then the location would need to be a field the customer could choose. (added problem – different locations sometimes charge different ticket prices). Our site doesn’t sell tickets so I have not considered this in a lot of detail.

    If anyone else has thoughts on this, please chip in!

    Creating multi-select venue options is not quite simple because each venue has its own seating and standing capacity and can be set as seating and standing types and there is also a frontend section depending on it. So we need to analyze this at a very deep level if we try to implement this because it will need major changes in core features.
