Ability to import image files to uploads

Hi Mike. We are planning on adding an “import” feature in the future to copy images across from a third party service to your WordPress install. For the moment though you can only link to external images.

Great. You should check out the dropbox photo sideloader plugin. It could help make the process of adding this easier.

The only problem I saw with it was that it was necessary to close and reload the admin->edit post to get the image to display in the add media box.
