    Hello,

I need to know how to get the differences between the staging website and the main website.
Let’s say that: I’ve made an edit on a page in the staging website
While pushing the changes to the main website, I need to get a report containing a log for changes that will be made.

is there any possibility to get a report like this? so when I’m pushing any changes I’ll be able to know what is going to be changed on the website and what will be affected?

I don’t know to get a report or changelog like this, but I think these logs may be offered by your plugin itself, another method, or a 3rd party plugin.

Kindly let me know if there is anyway, whatever is it, to get these reports.

    Hi @mukape

We don’t have this feature in WP STAGING plugin, I’ll log this as a feature request for further consideration in the future.

You might be interested in installing this plugin on the staging site to keep a log of all modifications made:

    Thanks,

then your plugin will provide logs?
at least, there should be an integration with logs plugins like simple history and the one you mentioned.

    thanks

    Hi @mukape ,

We have already shared the feature request with the dev team. Once we develop this, we will have a better change tracking or log system in WP Staging.

    Thanks sharing the request.

    Cheers

    Fayyaz
