• I’m running a petition and I have regularly user entering mistakes to their names. It would be nice to include an ability to edit signatures after signing. Actually I have to jump to MyPHPAdmin but this is only a suitable way for admins.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I am always reluctant to include features that someone could use to discredited the integrity of a petition.

It isn’t your fault if people make mistakes with their name (how do you even know?) and I am not sure it is the petition collector’s role to fix them.

    Convince me otherwise ;o)

Basically, I would agree with you, but the subsequent correction requests end up with me one way or another. I can do it the complicated way (editing the dataset via MySQL server), but a possibility in the backend would be nice. The petitioners have to trust each other one way or the other and I could lose the trust one way or the other.

I hear you Besim but I am not going to add this as a feature.

If you have some PHP coding skills you could quite easily create your own signature edit page, wouldn’t be a hard task at all.
