Ability to disable “Limit media library access to own uploads”

  • Thank you for the great plugin. I have a client that is using it, but for Contributor role it is limiting viewing media library images to the user’s own. This client uses their own logic for determining who can view/use images uploaded by others, and the “Limit media library access to own uploads” filter is interfering with it. It would be nice to have a checkbox or filter to disable it (or alternate capability?), since they don’t wish to grant the edit_others_posts capability to this role.

    For now, I commented out the ur_show_current_user_attachments filter on line 19 of user-registration/includes/functions-ur-account.php (version 1.9.7), but that is not ideal because it will get removed with the next plugin update.
