Ability to delete comments

    Hi,

    I’ve been a user of your Ajax Edit Comments for a while and decided to go with this new “lite” version because I don’t need all the other features of Ajax Edit Comments. However, I make one request: would it be possible to add the ability for people to delete their comments to this lite version? I am missing that feature, as I allow my commentators to delete them comments within the time-frame available.

    My apologies for my late response.

    I’m torn with this feature request because I can see it as a necessity for users of the plugin. The hard part is not annoying users of the plugin who “don’t” want the feature and want it disabled. The goal of this plugin has always been to have zero options, with some configuration available through filters.

    In your opinion, what do you think the best way is to add the feature, but still allow users who hate it to somehow disable it.

    I’m contemplating either releasing the feature as an add-on plugin, or making it a “hidden” feature that can be enabled via a filter.

    Any thoughts?

    When empty comment is submitted, don’t show error and instead ask user do they want to delete comment. ??

    I went with Milan’s suggestion with 1.1. If the user submits an empty comment, the plugin now asks if he/she wants to delete the comment.
