With a plugin like Email Templates I’m able to change the template of the default emails WordPress sends out.

When I removed that plugin and switched email sending to Sendinblue, including “Activate email through Sendinblue” under “Transactional emails”, emails are still HTML but I not longer seem to have control over this template.

Is there some way to modify this default HTML template Sendinblue uses for transactional emails (e.g. emails sent via Contact Form 7, or core WordPress emails) within Sendinblue? Or do I need to continue using a plugin such as Email Templates to override this?

It looks like your WooCommerce plugin offers this ability to use Sendinblue templates – but only for the templates WooCommerce sends?

Feels like this main WordPress plugin should also offer this?

    Hey @alecrust,

If you are using Sendinblue form OR
Contact Form 7 – Sendinblue Integration you can select the an email template designed in Sendinblue.

Also, you can have additional flexibility with our marketing automation if you would like to predefine the custom entry point for the workflow. Example: If a contact is added to a list.

Hope this helps. Feel free to respond to this thread with additional questions or if you’d like for us to have close look please open ticket

    Thanks @lephenixdelafamille.

I use the Contact Form 7 Sendinblue integration. It allows me to set the template of the confirmation email when added to a list, but it doesn’t allow me to set the template of the main email Contact Form 7 sends.

Because this plugin sends all WordPress emails (CF7 emails, update notifications etc.) via Sendinblue, I would have expected the ability to set a default Sendinblue template for these emails.

Your WooCommerce plugin allows using Sendinblue templates for WooCommerce emails, but your main plugin does not allow setting a Sendinblue template for emails sent from WordPress.
