Scan software reports: the plugin “tablepress extension: Responsive Tables appears to be abandoned.

Is it safe to continue to use this plugin extension? Thanks.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Indeed, the “TablePress Extension: Responsive Tables” plugin, which is an “add on” to TablePress, has been?retired?at the end of 2022. I will no longer update nor support it.
The reason is that its features have been integrated into the TablePress Pro and Max premium versions, that are now available on https://tablepress.org/premium/
Thus, the responsiveness features are now directly integrated there, without the need for a separate plugin, and with a nice user interface on a table’s “Edit” screen, instead of using error-prone Shortcode parameters.

(I’m not really sure why Wordfence lists this as “abandoned” though, as the plugin has never been part of the official www.remarpro.com plugin directory. And even though I won’t be updating or supporting it anymore (the Premium versions of TablePress that contain these features do however receive priority email support!), you can of course continue using it!)

    I hope this helps ??

    Regards,
    Tobias
