I have been happily using Genesis 404 Page for several years and would like to continue to do so. However, today I had the following alert from Wordfence:

The Plugin “Genesis 404 Page” appears to be abandoned (updated 2017-10-10, tested to WP 4.9.11).

Is it safe to stick with this plugin or should I be looking for an alternative?

    With thanks to the developers.

The plugin still works perfectly and hasn’t needed an update.

I’ll bump the “tested to” version soon so you don’t get notices like this again.

    Thanks

I thought as much, Bill. But it’s good to have it confirmed and it would be great if you wold bump the “tested to” version when you have the time to do so. Thanks for a really useful plugin.

Good to know! Thanks for bumping it up, as I’m using it in all my clients’ sites. Thanks guys!

I was just gonna ask the same thing – if the “tested to” version could be bumped up. Thanks @billerickson for doing so, it’s much appreciated!

When will the Tested To be bumped? The plugin still says:

    Last updated:2 years ago
    WordPress Version:3.0 or higher
    Tested up to:4.9.13

So it’s still being flagged as an issue by my security plugin.

    Thanks!
    Tara

FYI, @billerickson has very kindly just bumped the “Tested up to” version to 5.3 for us, so the warning message on the plugin page here – as well as the warning generated by Wordfence – should now be gone. ??
