    Hi,

We are experiencing tracking difficulties with how the pixel only tracks when people go to the checkout and not when they click the add to cart button. It should only track when people click the add to cart button. As a result, our facebook data lacks. I haven’t found any solution with the plugin or in the forum to this as far as I’m concerned. Any ideas?

Furthermore, we have a instances, where the purchase event is fired twice by the plugin. Following our tests. I have screen shots, if you would like to take a look.

    Kind regards
    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

We have indeed only added the AddToCart event on the checkout page itself. We’ve done so because previously when we also executed that event when users hit the Add To Cart button this often did not work for users as they where using theme’s that changed the default WooCommerce css that sits on that button. As a result the event never fired. That’s why we decided to remove the event from the button.

We have had no previous user reporting to us that the purchase event was fired twice. It sits on the “Thank you” page. Only when a user refreshes that page the event is re-fired.
