    Hi,

    Great plugin, thanks!

    I am using your plugin to link my abandoned cart emails, however, we’ve had a few customers say they’ve received abandoned cart emails even though they have completed their purchase.

    On two occasions it has been when customers used the ‘BACS/Direct bank transfer’ options to checkout. Not sure if this could be the reason and if there is a way to stop this?

  • We’ve just had a similar report and the order used the BASC gateway. The cart abandonment email also didn’t include any products. My guess is MailChimp doesn’t exclude the abandonment cart emails for on-hold orders?

    @morganhvidt @nicola-tweed yes that would be correct – we do not consider an “on-hold” order eligible for “deleting the cart”.

    We do however have an order hook that you could use if you feel might be of help for these types of situations.

    This should point you in the right direction though to work with your developer. Please keep in mind this would be a custom coding job that you would be responsible for, so please test in a staging environment first ??
