AB Page/Post Grid – Exclude Category Setting

  • Would love to see has a setting to EXCLUDE individual taxonomies (tag or category) from display in the AB Page/Post Grid loop.

    USE CASE: Home page with several taxonomy-driven Post Grid blocks. Need to prevent duplicates from appearing in the blocks.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the suggestion! We’re currently improving the page grid feature of this block, adding the option to select specific pages for the grid.

    I’ll add this feature request to the backlog and we’ll definitely consider it in the next post grid update!

    I completely agree with @signalforge. This would be a real gamechanger. A dev site I’m working on reveals the issue. We have news stories that are both Latest News AND we want in the Spotlight section. But if in the Spotlight, we don’t want them showing up again, below, in the Latest News section.

    I also think this would be very helpful. There are functions we can use to exclude categories from the blocks, but normally it is site-wide or page-specific. If you have two blocks on one page and want to exclude a category from one and not the other, its impossible.
