    Just noticed after updating to Gutenberg 5.9.0 (recent) that when updating the page existing Atomic Blocks 1.8.1 Container blocks are missing afterwards, after reloading the editor page and on front end. It is also not possible to use a previous revision as updating the page with that revision results in same issue of Atomic Blocks Container blocks being removed.

    Downgrading to Gutenberg 5.8.0 fixes the issue, hence Gutenberg 5.9.0 introduced something that is incompatible to recent Atomic Blocks 1.8.1.

  • Yeah, this goes for accordion blocks as well, old ones break and new ones doesn’t contain any content when looking at them from the front end.

    Hi, does it work if you update Gutenberg to 5.9.2? I just tested and it works, and it looks like they fixed a couple bugs that are related.

    I’m having the same issue. I updated to the most recent version of Atomic Blocks. I have a post that has lost all content that was in Atomic Blocks.

    @mindctrl Any suggestions?

    @slimmilkduds Did you content come back?

    @braffenberg which versions of the following are you using?

    – WordPress
    – Gutenberg Plugin
    – Atomic Blocks plugin

    Also, if you’re familiar with how to do it, you can open your web browser’s developer tools console and look for any error messages. If you see any, please send some screenshots.

    It works now with recent WordPress 5.2.2, Gutenberg plugin 6.0.0 and Atomic Blocks 2.0.
