We use AAM 3.5.4 with the Plus Package 5.0.8. AAM indicates one update in the left side panel. It displays the error message:

“The .listing/config.php file is missing. Update extension to the latest version”

However, when I click extensions, it does not indicate an update is available. What can I do?

    Hi @deichenlaub,

The “.listing” is know valid AAM extension and it should be deleted from the wp-content/aam/extension folder.

I do not have a “listing” file in the specified folder.

    Hi @deichenlaub,

I bet you do have this file. Typically files and folders in Linux that start with dot are hidden. Maybe that is why you do not see it in your cPanel file manager. Login with your FTP credentials and you’ll find it in the wp-content/aam/extension folder.

That’s it. The error message is gone. The permission restrictions are still working. Thanks.

last night I upgraded my AAM installation.

Now I am getting error message as follows:

DataTables warning: table id:id=role-list – Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see https://datatables.net/tn/7

Please advise how to fix this issue.

    Thank you.
