AAM changing all image URLs to "aam_media"

Looks like the developer pushed out an update with all the extensions activated. Go to the extensions section and disable AAM Media Manager to fix the issue.

If you do not want AAM to handle your website images , Go to the following file /advanced-access-manager/extension/AAM_Media_Manager/extension.php and find

private $_skip = false;

change above to

private $_skip = TRUE;

Now , your images url would be handled by wordpress itself.

Thank you. Had a site of mine go all wonky… but the above solution works! All back to normal again.

Changes made to extension.php will probably be lost during the next update / upgrade.

Instead go to WP Dashboard > AAM > Extensions and disable “AAM Media Manager” by clicking on the green tick.

@stephane , That didnt worked for me . Whatever extension I removed by clicking that green tick at backend it didnt get removed . Same issue was repeating thats why I hardcoded into extension.php file.

Hi there … will this be fixed in the next update? I have a lot of sites that I would have to go through to “un-tick” this … please advise.

I tried with the tick but nothing happened…

I went to the WP Dashboard > AAM > Extensions and disable “AAM Media Manager” by clicking on the green tick like was said above and it solved my issues! Thank you!
