AAM and bbPress

Ive used AAm for years and it’s been great, however i have installed bbpress and now it seems for a user whom I had set up as a super user (basically admin with some backend functionaility removed) they can now see everything as admin – eventhough their WP role is Superuser. I am using the most cirrent version of AAM and bbPress. Any ideas? The user is also set in the forum as keymaster role so they can add/remove forums.
