Hello community, can anyone help me with this error message?

    * A zip error occurred – check your log for more details.

I’ve just discovered updraftplus and when I tried to make a backup of my site it said: The backup apparently succeeded (with warnings) and is now complete.

I’ve searched the web and didn’t find the solution. Is this a warning I can overlook and the backup is fine or should I fix it before updating my site.

Current WordPress is version 5.5. I would update it but i need a backup just in case something goes wrong with my store.

Thank you for any useful information!

    Hi,

To help us find out the cause of the issue, please could you send us a copy of the full backup log? This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab. The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Best Wishes,
    Bryle

    Hi,

    Thank you!

“0031.768 (0) The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (Unknown: ZipArchive does not return error messages). List of files we were trying to add follows (check their permissions).”

This message usually means that your server disk space is already full. Please can you check and make sure there is more than enough space?

    Thanks,
    Bryle
