• Hi,

I am using the Essential Grid plugin from Codecanyon (https://essential.themepunch.com/) in conjunction with Simple Share Buttons Adder.

Basically, I’m making a grid of different web articles. Each grid block contains information/fields from a unique custom post type (called web resources). Within these web resource post types, I include a featured image, the title of the web article, and also a custom field of the external URL where the particular blog post is found.

Essential Grid allows me to summarize each of these post types in a grid-layout. I would like to add share buttons to the grid, but instead of having the share buttons point back to my custom post type posts, I would like them to connect to the custom URL field that I have added to each post entry. In Essential Grid, that external URL is represented by the following meta tag: %egl-source-url%

    Here’s my question:
How can I get my Simple Share Buttons to share the link specified by %egl-source-url%, instead of linking to my posts?
