A value for popularity?

Since this is the plugin for post views that empowers the most detailed db tables, it would be nice to add the them an index of popularity for each post.
The popularity factor would be calculated following the time span (1 day, 1 week…etc) so that if in the last week (example) I have 200 total views, and this post has 30 views also in the last week, its factor of popularity would be 30/200 = 0.15 (the factor is 0<factot<1)
Please consider this.
