A user publishes a post like Author

    Hello Uncanny Friends, I have a problem because trying to use the trigger ‘ A user publishes a type of post with a taxonomy term in a taxonomy ‘ and the action ‘ Add a post to the activity stream of a group ‘ from BuddyBoss, but only works with administrator users. I need works with Author users and all roles user.

    I’m so sorry about the delay. We’re a few staff down and a bit distracted by the 2.10 Pro release right now.

    We believe the issue in your case is that your author is not a member of the group. Only group members can post to the activity stream of the group. Would that make sense in your situation? You could potentially have a recipe that adds the author to the group and then adds the post, but I’m not sure if that fits your context either.

    Let us know if our hypothesis isn’t correct. And in that case, does the action log show the recipe as completing successfully or is an error shown?
