A top performance plugin for WP sites of all sizes—backed by unmatched support

I’m not sure whether or not you can declare *any* plugin to be universally appropriate across the seemingly infinite number of sites and themes that comprise the WordPress universe, but Autoptimize is the closest thing I’ve seen.

When seeking to remedy a performance lag on a client’s site, adding Autoptimize to the fold is just about always my very first move. Is another plugin (or CDN) providing minification functionality? Turn it off there, Autoptimize does it better. Is another plugin attempting to combat your heavy theme stylesheets, bloated-plugin scripts, and reduce the number of requests your site makes each page load by aggregating them? Again, leave it to Autoptimize; it does the job better.

To top it all off, incredibly, the dev behind this plugin is as actively engaged, patient and thoughtful as any you’ll find. Easily.

Plain and simple, there’s no performance plugin I’d recommend more highly than AO.
