A to Z filter?

Hi, I’m using your plugin to filter people directory listings. I would like to add an A B C D E F G H… Z filter above the listings which would filter them by last name like this:
https://www.bucknell.edu/script/communication/EverythingDirectory/Do you know how I could do this?
