• I have a general question. I want to display all the “product categories” in the front page of my site. There is a space given in the theme to enter woocommerce shortcodes. So i checked from [here](https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/) and entered the code but no luck.

The shortcode is not working there. Whereas all other shortcodes are working in that place. Contacted the theme support, they said

“Our theme just runs whatever shortcode you put in there and it doesn’t choose any favorites, so it’s probably an issue with the shortcode.”

To verify whether it’s correct, I tried inserting the “product categories” shortcode in a page and it’s working perfectly there.

So finally couldn’t find where the issue is. Thought people here may know anything about it.

If you have any idea then your thoughts are most welcomed.

    Thanks

That is a silly statement to make since all shortcodes use the same API ?? Add one of the theme shortcodes there to see if they are broken, and make sure any shortcode you add has no formatting/code tags inside.
