    Hello,

I’ve been using this plugin to determine the order in which my post snippets appear when you click on a subcategory and retrieve the content archive page. When I first started using it, the plugin worked fine for this purpose.

Recently I’ve changed 2 things about my blog:

    1) I’ve updated to WP 3.1
    2) I’ve installed WP SEO by Yoast

About a week after these 2 changes, I published a post and attempted to use A Sticky Post Orderer to make it appear where I wanted it in the Content Archive listing. This time it didn’t work.

Here’s the thing. All the other posts that I had previously ordered using this plugin remained in the position I had set (not the order in which they were published). But the new post not only doesn’t appear in the order I set it for, but instead is next to last – a seemingly random position.

Finally, I am extremely new to all this, so if there is some kind of coding involved in fixing this, I’ll need to know

    a) what document it goes into
    b) exactly where in that document it would go – ie after_____ and before _____

Btw, I don’t know whether it makes any difference whatsoever, but I did deactivate all my plugins, cleared my cache, and then re-activated them.

    Thanks for any assistance here.

    Regards,

    Diana
