A Social Network Marvel

Of all the social network plugins I’ve tested, PeepSo is the best one for WordPress. The PeepSo staff are extremely thorough putting stability at the forefront while including exciting features after extensive testing. Support is fantastic often replying even outside of ticket hours. Not once have I seen them miss a beat even with my custom filter tickets.

I was quite happy with PeepSo 2. PeepSo 3 introduces many great changes including a notification engine rewrite where quality content is king instead of bombardment of useless notifications. Something social media giants really ought to take inspiration from. The new design is absolutely beautiful and plays well on my custom WP theme. Other sweet aspects are reactions to native WP-posts, brute force protection, WP-tags to #hashtags, overriding WP’s strict username change rules, AJAX edit/stream, stream search + filters, and many other hidden gems. PeepSo’s instant multi-member chat works better than the best paid WP member chat plugin.

Works perfectly with JReviews which allows you to create stunning business directories with advanced post filtering, organized relations, mapping/geo-coding, review stream items, favorite post steam items, event planning, front-end posting with many custom field options, calendar widgets, member/admin quick lists, videos to posts, subscribing to searches, and resources on listings. For advanced users if coupled with PublishPress Permissions for auto generating blog posts per member (utilize .htaccess to rewrite urls to point ‘member’ WP-posts to PeepSo profiles) and some PHP knowledge you can have mapped members searchable by country, skills, available days, stats, specific available dates, and much more which utilizes JReviews instant search results. Change favorites into “2020 Plans” allows members to find other members for a specific subject/place for collaborations/meetings in the touch of a button. If you want to create something truly world class and innovative on your own; it’s more achievable than ever before.

PeepSo takes performance and speed very seriously and continue to find ways to make it running under 2 seconds on a cheap shared host even with a CCK enabled. Of course a dedicated server is best when scaling up with thousands of active members. PeepSo staff have a true dedication to wanting our communities to succeed. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
