• Hi!
I wish to extract content from one cell and show it in another cell.
Using the Singe Cell shortcode plugin, I use shortcode [table-cell id=1 cell=B3 /] in cell G3 to display content from cell B3. So far, so good.
    .
Unfortunately, since my table has 70 rows, I have to alter the shortcode manually for every row. Or is there a smarter way to do this?
    .
Now, here comes the real issue: Having this table as a template for future projects, I simply make a copy once it′s finished… BUT NO – all the shortcodes refer to TABLE1. Am I really supposed to alter every row manually, for every copy of this table?
    .
Grateful for any kind of tip / support!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, there’s no smarter way to change those row numbers in the Shortcode as of now, sorry ??

For the problem with the copied table: Instead of copying it directly, you could export the template table to a CSV file. Then, open that in a text editor on your computer and do a search&replace (e.g. search for id=1 and replace it with id=2 or similar). Then, import the modified CSV file as a new table into TablePress.

    Regards,
    Tobias
