a repeat background img

  • i made a gif i want to fill in the whole background of my theme.

    here is the css they have

    url(img/bg.gif) top center repeat-y;

    presently the little image i made is only repeated a few times in the very center rather than filling the screen. What could i change,
    i suspect they used a large bg image for the green theme before i replaced it, so it might not work
