A rare and wonderful plugin and developer

Steven Zahm has created a one-of-a-kind directory plugin that is versatile, performs extraordinarily well and plays well with other plugins.
I had a truly difficult time finding a plugin that would provide a compact directory listing with good sortation and filtering and that would fit compactly onto a page. I installed Connections and was up and running in no time. It’s very easy to use.
However, I needed some changes made to fit exactly the usage I had in mind. I wrote to Steven and found him to be happily helpful and rapidly responsive. This is, as most of you know, VERY unusual in plugin developers.
He made the changes I needed in just a couple of days and sent me my own custom version of one of the standard templates at a reasonable cost. It lasted for two years until he updated some core files in the software. When one little item stopped functioning as a result he very quickly updated my php file for me and had me back up and running, again, in no time.
Steven’s a great and talented guy and I recommend his Connections plugin without reservation.
