A quick question about plugin development

Hi there,

I’ve written a basic function which works well in each of my blogs. I’d just like to know how easy it would be to write a plugin which add’s this code (6 or 7 lines) into the themes’ functions.php file.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, eager to write my first plugin ??
