a quick fix with frontend upload functionality

    am new to wordpress. My developer was slacking hence i had to pick it up.

    I just uploaded the frontend uploader. i need these issues fixed in a very simple step by step to help a newcomer/learner:

    1. the uploaded content not showing in the media and page even though i ve changed it to post_media.

    2. want to include country and email in the form under author id,

    3. want the contents to show in a designated category blog

    pls help.

    4. if i upgrade my WP to 4.2, will it change my settings and my website?

    remember, make it simple for me to understand.
