    Good Morning,

I have a problem with the file changes, every time that I do a scan on Wordfence – this message comes up:

    • Filename: /homepages/41/d948940710/htdocs/clickandbuilds/Affiliateadvicetoday/wp-admin/css/colors/midnight/php.ini
    • File Type:?Core
    • Details: This file is in a WordPress core location but is not distributed with this version of WordPress. This scan often includes files left over from a previous WordPress version, but it may also find files added by another plugin, files added by your host, or malicious files added by an attacker. 245 more similar files were found. Learn More

Please could you help me with this problem – I want this problem removed.

This week my website will go live, and I want to let Google know that I have a website. (SEO, etc.).

    Kind Regards,

    Aida Brink,

  • Hi @affiliateaida
    Thanks for reaching out!

php.ini is a very important file on your website. From the scan results, it looks like there was a change made to this file that Wordfence does not recognize.

There is no reason to panic as this could just be because your version of WordPress is out of date or your host has added custom values to your php.ini file.

I recommend reaching out to your host as they would have more info on this!

    Thanks,

    Joshua
