• I’m shocked! After the last update the plugin, when approaching the site from the browser Mozilla Firefox popup window with a link to a resource developer blocking the entire main page. I understand that you are in a pop-up message warning the user that their browser plugin blocks some functions, but not bad would be to ask the owner of the site, if he needs this option? Especially that blocks pop-up page where plug is not used anywhere a priori. On other pages, I use the plugin only for authentication in the comments, and there are no problems of its functionality. Maybe it was worth to allow the site owner to decide to show a window warning the user, or not? Where can I turn off the pop-up window or something set up on their own, I did not find. Is there a way to turn it off? And for those who decide to use this function would be nice to have foreseen the possibility of transferring posts on his site language.

There is a Close icon to dismiss the popup and this popup appears only once. If user dismisses the popup or refreshes the page, popup vanishes.

And for those who decide to use this function would be nice to have foreseen the possibility of transferring posts on his site language.

We have sent plugin translators an email to update the translation ASAP. We will include the translation in the plugin, as soon as we get response from translators.

Many users reported the issues with Social Comments, Social Sharing and Social Login when using latest version of Firefox browser. That’s why it was necessary to show a one-time message to website users. You know, people don’t waste time thinking that the issue is with their browser ??

    To disable the popup,
If you have enabled Load all Javascript files in single file option at Super Socializer > General Options page in admin area, replace existing wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/js/front/combined.js file with the file at following link:

Else, replace existing wp-content/plugins/super-socializer/js/front/social_login/general.js file with the file at following link:

Thank you for your prompt response, but it is not convenient to provide the ability to disable / enable a pop-up window of the administration panel in the future? As I have made sure the pop-up window appears, regardless, is used on the page, directly plugin or not, and whether there is a problem of its functionality or not. I think that the site administrator can decide whether or not to use the pop-up window. In addition it might be worth to change the presentation of pop-up messages? I agree, but why not place it in the middle blocking the entire page.

On the example of my life. I have a small camping site in the Crimea. The plugin I use exclusively for authorized users in the comments. Comments left on the site a few times a year. But there will be a pop-up window appears, regardless, is going to use to log in or not. That is, in 99% of cases show a popup window is misplaced, it will only irritate visitors. In my case, this is unacceptable. Often tourists looking for summer camp for the night with phones, tablets, laptops using mobile internet is not high speed. Faced with a pop-up window that blocks the page, they will not click on links to other resources, to read there about how to configure the browser to translate them into Russian and reconfigure it. Among my clients number of people fluent in English for reading this guide is minimal. Very likely, they simply leave the site and will be looking for another placement on a site where there are no pop-ups blocking suspicious in their eyes.

I think I am not alone. There will be dozens more, maybe hundreds of users for which the presence of such a pop-up window on the site only creates additional problems. Maybe we should take this into account and allow the site administrator to decide independently activate the warning option in the pop-up window or not. In my case it is easier to give up the use of this plugin on the website than losing visitors who for me are potential customers camping.

We have just released the version 7.8.13 having the option to disable the popup notification, at Super Socializer > General Options page in admin area. You can even change the message displayed in the popup and specify message in your language. Kindly update your plugin.
Sorry, for the inconvenience caused. It had become very essential to show Firefox users a one-time message, just to let them know that there is nothing wrong with your website or our plugin. This is because we care about you and the effort we are putting in our plugins ?? We hope you can understand.

Thank you for the quick response! Your attention to the specifics of your users use the product does you credit. I do not expect such a rational approach to the problems of the average user. Thanks again. I think the problem is solved.
