A plugin to upload images

  • Hello all, one of my clients looking for an option that allows his clients to upload multiple images of the vehicle from different angles. also, the main thing is after uploading the images the client should be able to indicate the rusted or damaged areas in the vehicle..! So basically some editing option to come with the plugin, such as some kind of highlighter feature or circling some area of that specific image. Any suggestion would be highly appreciated

    Most web servers come with the GD image editor. Its capabilities are limited. iMagick is sometimes available. It’s much more capable, but is still limited. Neither are as capable as proper image editing software like PhotoShop (subscription based) or GIMP (free to download and use). To accomplish what is desired, the plugin would need its own very capable editing engine. I don’t think such a plugin exists, but I hope someone will come along and prove me wrong ??

    IMO, the best option would be to pre-process images as desired using a proper image editing software package. Once properly prepared, only then should images be uploaded.
