” A plugin has prevented updates by disabling wp_version_check(). ”

” The loopback request to your site failed, this may prevent WP_Cron from working, along with theme and plugin editors.
Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received ”

These are both showing when the only active plugin is health check and twenty-seventeen theme are active. Not just troubleshooting mode. Ideas?

Yeah, and tons of intermittent 404 blank pages

    Hiya,

It sounds like you might be hitting a server limitation we recently discovered.

Is it always the same tests failing, or is it random? Also, do you know what kind of web server you are using (if not, that’s fine, just curious to see if we can narrow it down a little)?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Been prioritizing issues.

Every time I load the Health Check plugin these messages are displayed at the bottom of the first screen. Also, I am having trouble getting my facebook sharing images to show up, getting CURL timeouted errors. And I can’t get Wp-Stagecoach to work. It gives either a 404 or 500 error each time. They advised to increase my php memory limit but that had no effect.

My host is bluehost, so I am not totally sure the server details. They have been incredibly unhelpful over many hours of support requests.
