A plea to developers: WP Reel 3D plugin

  • I recently came across this plugin for creating user manipulatable 3D objects and panoramas similar to Quicktime VR using jquery code:

    I contacted the author of the plugin, Petr Vost?el, who sent me this nice reply regarding a WordPress version of the plugin:
    “Currently I’m trying to slowly raise an awareness that a WP plugin is needed and anticipated by the community and I’m hoping that WP community will pick it up, especially when there’s a Drupal module already in existence ?? And it won’t take long I guess, third party tools and integration solutions are emerging “like shrooms after a rain” like we Czechs like to say ;)”

    I’m a designer myself, but I’d love to see someone in the community create a WP friendly version of this great plugin. If Drupal has it already, hopefully we can’t be far behind. Any thoughts from developers or potential users?
