A new word count statistics plugin like TD Word Count?

I’m wondering if anyone knows of a good word count statistics plugin like TD Word Count. That plugin hasn’t seen active development since 2007, and it’s got some issues with the newer versions of WP. It doesn’t count posts from 2009 for some reason, and it includes all saved draft revisions from every post, which throws off the numbers dramatically. Others have reported that it also “messes up redirection for previews and draft saving in 2.8.”

Is there another plugin or tool that does stats similar to this one, for counting word averages per post, total words, words per month, words per author, etc.?
