A new plugin from an existing one

  • Hello,

    I started from a plugin from the Plugins section and I changed it for another destination.

    Can I publish it in the Plugins section in order for others to use it?

    If yes, is there a special place within the files where to specify the original plugin from where I started and its author?

    It really depends on what you’ve changed and how you’ve changed it. If it’s just another destination and nothing else then I doubt that’s enough.

    I’m not on the plugins team (they work hard!) but that’s my opinion. ??

    If yes, is there a special place within the files where to specify the original plugin from where I started and its author?

    The plugin readme.txt file is a great place to document that.
