• We run a site with tonnes of portfolios (www.brixwork.com) and it has so many JPGs of our design jobs. It takes up so much space, and as we retire old ones, add new ones, it just got so bloated.

We use a CDN & cloud storage (AWS Cloudfront and S3) so removing old/obsolete files also saves us money on storage costs which are charged by gigabyte. This saving is however small compared to the big savings of time saved when looking through our media library for future blog posts & showcases.
