• I’m in the middle of creating a new theme for my site and just “finished” my photos section. If anyone has time could you please drop by and see if anything looks funky.

I’ve tested it in firefox and netscape so I would really appreciate feedback from Safari, opera, etc.

keep in mind that nothing else is finished yet so i’m not really looking for a site review, just feedback on whether it looks ok with different browsers.

    the address is:

    Thanks

Oh, I know for a fact that it looks painfully bad in IE but I really could care less about that browser. My reasoning is that it’s a personal site and the only legit reason to use IE is if your company makes you. So, since very few of my visitors access the site from an office, I could care less about it. ??

Quit an attractive looking theme you have there Andrew. And just so you know, almost everything seems to appear fine in Internet Explorer, except for the sidebar elements which seem to slump down towards the bottom of the page. Nothing a little CSS tweaking couldn’t fix.

Remember, Internet Explorer accounts for a massive amount of internet surfers out there, favoring a less popular browser like Firefox over another such as IE (to be honest I do it myself) would put alot of visitors off.

Thanks for the fast reply ??

My older theme was similar but I made it back in the days of WP 1.2 and and it made it through 1.5 but when I upgraded to 2.1 a lot of things just broke. I’m also thinking of releasing the plugin I made for the photos section when i’m done if anyone is interested.

As for IE, i’ve used the famous underscore css hack to fix most of the IE glitches but if IE7 doesn’t make some serious efforts to support the standards then i’m going to give up on it altogether.

I only have IE installed on my work machine. and so my feedback is not really needed to you.
i am just writing here to let u know that i took a look at your website.

    thanks
    Sadish

Looks good to me in Safari.

Not sure if you’re aware, but clicking both Scripts and Contact in your menu brought up a “Not Found.” for me.

    joan,

yeah, I haven’t gotten to those pages yet. I’ve spent the last two weeks writing the plugin that runs the photos section.

Thanks for the input guys ??
