a link to PDF strips '#'

  • Hi everyone,

    I noticed that WordPress is stripping the # in a link to a PDF.

    here’s my code:

    <a class="thumbnail" href="https://localhost:9347/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Ready-For-The-World-Pulse-June-2007.pdf#page=4">test</a>

    The problem is that I click on the link, it just go to the PFD and not to page 4 as indicated. I saved this code in notepad and it runs fine.

    Can someone tell me how to disable WordPress from stripping # and other characters?
