• Hi,

This is for sure an amazing plug-in !

I tried to look at the previous posts to see if my problem had been already solved for someone else, but I couldn’t find any trace of it… My apologies if this question has already been asked !

Indeed, I’ve came accross a small problem : I have to include some hypertext links into the captions of my slideshows… I don’t want the image to be a link, so I don’t want to use the “URL” field that the plug-in provides. I just have to put a link on some words in each captions. So I tried that, but… they don’t show up. They come just as I typed them, instead (<a href="www.google.com">google</a> for example).

So my question is : is there another way to put the “a href” so that it will actually be treated and displayed as a link ?

And if not, is there a “less short” shortcode that I can use to put something like a str_replace on the .slideshow-description ?

Help will be much appreciated :?D
    Thanks in advance !

    Hello again,

Well, I’ve been customizing the style of my slideshow – thanks to the option provided –, and I did find there some specifications for an “a” attribute in the css…

So it must mean it is possible to include links in the cations of a picture slideshow !?

I’ve also read a note on the developer’s page, saying that we could use HTML in the captions (h, br, span etc…). But no mention of the “a” attribute in there ??

I still can’t find a way to do that, which is kind of a problem in my project right now. Damn, this is the perfect plug-in for what I want to do, I don’t want to look for another one just because of this !

If anyone has an idea… Many thanks in advance !
