A honest review
-
This plugin deserves a full length review. I ma using this and paid version.
I am not bot, I am not being paid for this review. I intended to make this review after I was reading how less experienced people drew negative and inappropriate focus to it. In all honesty I have zero emotions for this company, however where good words are needed then they are needed.
So basically I am not going into features. You can grasp that on your own. What I am about to write is a recent public backslash and a response from the company.
Me being in this business for years, seeing ups and downs of larger companies I can safely say that all these kids which are leaving negative reviews to this product with the “hacked-avoid” are way out of control. All these immature responses should be taken with a great deal of salt.Yes, the plugin had a problem. This is not the point. My point is how this company handled situations like this.
Come on, even mighty Elementor themselves had a major security issue a year ago – similar to this one. It doesn’t mean one should stop using it.
These things happen. But what comes after is important and is telling a tale.
I was closely watching their public response and Wordfence blog and what can be said is this. They acted professionally, accordingly and swiftly. They never denied issues, let alone tried to hide them. They fixed it promptly; they even offered a service for existing customers which were having issues. They also hired professionals to audit for them.
So what does this tell you?
It’s telling you that from now on this product is even more mature when it comes to security, and I can only highly recommend it.
Also support is very responsive. I had one issue with caching and they responded promptly and to the point (it was an issue on my end).
Being in this industry, honesty and swift response is a rare thing to find. Usually companies try to hide these issues or they act like users are to blame. Not this one, these are good guys.
Support these guys and I am looking forward to dealing with them in the future.
