A great way of adding fully featured import to PM Pro without a ‘Plus’ Plan

  • I stumbled across this plugin when I was looking for a CSV import mechanism for adding members to my site. I don’t have a requirement for massive numbers of members to be imported at a time but I do need to have a simple and reusable mechanism that automates much of the process rather than assign user membership level manually.

    I’m using PMPro for membership management but unless you subscribe to the ‘Plus’ plan, CSV import is not an option available to me. While we never mind paying for support etc. for the tools we use, we think the step up from PMPro ‘Standard’ to ‘Plus’ for this specific functionality is too much to justify.

    When I first tried this plugin, it happened to be at a point where PMPro had changed something in the background and while it did a great job of importing subscribers and creating / sending new user notification emails etc. the functionality to set the membership ID and membership level was broken.

    I logged a message on the support forum, got an immediate response and allowing for some development time, I’m pleased to report that everything is working for me perfectly now!

    Thank you very much for taking the time to write this review and for your words.

    You can’t imagine how hard it is to run a project of this kind (even more being free) and the amount of people who put pressure on you and give you a bad evaluation, usually because of misunderstandings.

    But well, thanks to evaluations like this it’s worth to keep working on projects like this.
