    Good day.

    Please find this message in good faith. Since you have a new listing, I do not want to give your first review a 1 STAR rating.

    I just noticed your plugin and noticed it was linked to a tag for POPIA.

    I herewith want to inform you that I recently reviewed all the POPIA plugins in the store and downvoted them with a 1 STAR rating for saying their plugin is for POPIA.

    The fact is that I have done much research as a South African, and want to inform you that POPIA does not require a cookie banner, instead there are a whole lot more requirements and a cookie banner ain’t one of them.

    I want you to please remove the POPIA TAG since it is false advertising, and the people of South Africa are being misinformed by plugin suppliers like yourself.

    I will be reviewing it again on Friday, and if your plugin still pops up when I search for POPIA I will have to give you a 1 STAR rating for the same reason as to protect the people of South Africa.

    Thank you for your return, but I do not understand your remark, you speak of misleading advertising, there is no advertising on the plugin.

    Then you say that POPIA doesn’t require any cookie banners, but I never said otherwise. The only mention of POPIA is in the FAQ and if you read the answer you will see that I do not guarantee compliance.

    This plugin was created to facilitate the implementation of cookies mainly for GDPR. I have only listed similar regulations.

    Put 1 star if you want, I don’t understand the point of blackmailing, I don’t win anything with this plugin it’s open source.

    So the stuff of publicity and star threat is really childish.

    I am going to remove this mention so that you will have peace of mind, me it does not bring me anything.
